Inspired by the song "When I am Through With You" by the The VLA
"Little lamb... Smile! When I am through with you, There won't be anything left. When I am through with you, There won't be anything left. When I am through with you, There won't be anything left. " Textures by the always fucking awesome `pendlestock Lamb from ~SolStock Comments
"The design and colors rock and would also make a great Tshirt."
That...makes me very happy. I specifically, no joke, did this as a t-shirt idea. I'm working on reworking a bunch of recent images to put them up on the plethora of t-shirt sites and this was the first one I did with that specifically in mind, hence the limited color palette. So that comment rules. As for the rest, yeah I knew there was some irony putting this up this close to Easter but that was just a happy coincidence. As for the song, go to their page and listen to it. It and all the stuff they have up is awesome. -- I love damages and the song, and this image does fit it well

I really love the line quality. I'm impressed that you do not use the same line width and tone as I see in so many deviations. Instead you vary your line creating thick and thin, dark and medium, using the lines to help bring focus to the right areas.
I especially love the lines around the lamp. That thick gray line around the top of the lamp is gorgeous (as far as lines go, that is). You also vary the line around the knives. It's very subtle but it's there. then you have the solid lines that zig-zag across the bottom of the image creating a nice static imagery that contradicts the vertical lines created by the knives. These are little details that helps pull this image together that others may or may not notice because they're too busy looking at the obvious (by the way, I live the implication the heart represents).
