Artist's Comments Hi gang! I hope you don't take this as something offensive. Sometimes it takes a little humor to get people to pay attention to what is going on out there in the world right in front of them, and that's all I am trying to do!Despite my whimsical appearance i have a serious side too  This sentiment brought to you by BMW-Big Man's Wealth and Covergirl. Covergirl! ****end Gweepee*** In all seriousness, this is something I managed to snap with my camera phone ( actually all of the recent Gweepee stories have been shot with the camera on my blackjack aside from the guatamalan 3 way poster ) while waiting for the bus. This weird scene too place about 2 feet in front of me. And honestly, this sort of thing does weird me out in LA and Hollywood. California itself is considered to be one of the biggest economies in the world. The state of California is essentially a global superpower cash wise. And you will see a constant barrage of absurd wealth clashing with flat out poverty almost anywhere in this city at any moment. I'm not trying to offer any answers about what to do about it, just doing my job as an artist and making an observation in my own odd way. |
